๐Ÿ“ˆTrack-Board

Ability to track any time sensitive metric or trend in your business without waiting for someone to compile a dashboard or report.

Business needs for timely information can be divided into two brroad categories:

  1. Information required on a regular basis to perform a job function or to manage business operations. Examples of such information include sales pipelines, customer issues, inventory levels etc.

  2. Information relevant to an emerging or short-term situation, which may go away with time. Example of such information include inventory shortfall during Covid, sales pipeline in Germany after departure of regional sales lead, backlog of customer issues after a product error.

Both sets of information are important, but #2 information is most often time sensitive. Once the temporary (days to few months) issue gets resolved, the information might not be needed on a regular basis. Unfortunately, there hasn't been an easy way for businesses to get and track the time sensitive information they need, since it may require new data to be sourced, modeled, centralized and then published into a Dashboard.

Clarista provides the unique capability for its users to dynamically configure and track time-sensitive metrics. If the data is already published to the Semantic Data Fabric, user can simply ask the relevant question in TALKdata and start tracking the results in personalized Track-Board. Once the need goes away, user can simply 'Un-track' the metric or chart. No need to go through a time consuming dashboard or report compilation process.

If the data is not published to the Semantic Data Fabric, required data can be uploaded to customer's data plane as a short term measure and published to the Semantic Data Fabric, which is then immediately available for creating personalized Trackers. If the user decides that the information will be needed on an ongoing basis, sourcing of required data can be automated with Clarista Lab.

Key Features:

  • Users can configure new charts, tables and KPIs using natural language questions.

  • Any such output can be tracked with a single click into a personalized Track-Board.

  • All tracked metrics and charts are refreshed real-time in seconds, when the user visits the TrackBoard.

  • If required, new data for a time-sensitive metric can be uploaded and combined with existing data to create new Trackers.

  • Users can track and un-track metrics on their own without requiring technical support.

How are Track-Boards different from Dashboards and alternatives?

Unlike Dashboards, where a Data Analyst first configures a set of charts to be grouped into a Dashboard based on business needs, Track-Boards can be configured directly by business users using Clarista's GenerativeAI. Along with cutting down the time to get what the business user is looking for, it optimizes the time of your Data Team to focus on other important tasks. Use of Track-Boards also eliminate the burden of too many dashboards that data teams need to maintain, without knowing if they are actually useful the business or not.

Alternatives to Clarista Track-Board are quite limited. Few solutions that provide the capability to pin a chart to a personalized Dashboard still have to limit the data against which such dashboards or charts can be created. Instead, Clarista utilizes the combination of GenAI and its Semantic Engine to dynamically figure out the data required for the metric.
